Purpose The purpose of the committee is to: Identify and promote best practices in injury prevention, disability management and the interpretation and application of the Workers’ Compensation Act and policies. Act as a forum for the discussion and resolution of the mutual concerns and issues of workers, owners, contractors and the WCB relating to the workers’ compensation practice on the part of each or any of those groups. Develop and disseminate training, educational and awareness materials for the benefit of the industrial construction industry.
